After 4 months of hard work and a lot of test, we have managed to install, in a vmware environment of virtualization, the latest version of WebCT – BlackBoard CE 8.
For a few months we will have this facility for testing and a few months to turn farm.
The new version brings many improvements and a radical change in the user environment. We were doing tests with Moodle but the inversion that exists in teacher training and hinders migration WebCT to Moodle made us decide to Blackboard.
In coming posts I will discuss the experience with this new platform.
